STEFANEL S.p.A. makes efforts to ensure the security of information provided by users, in accordance with Italian regulations on personal data protection, as governed by decree law no.196/2003.

The object of this declaration is to inform you of Stefanel's policy concerning privacy.

Holder and persons in charge of handling

STEFANEL S.p.A., located at Ponte di Piave (TV) - Via Postumia no. 85, is the holder responsible for the handling of your data and the current administration director pro-tempore is in charge of the same handling process. (See updated list opposite of those in charge and their responsibilities).

Area of communication and circulation of data

Your data are to be collected from you directly or, possibly, from databases, lists, registers or public documents, and will not be circulated under any circumstance. The same data may be transmitted to other companies in the Stefanel group or to others who are to handle phases of the procedure for processing documents, sale and despatch of products.

Type and provision of data

The provision of data is optional although, in the case of refusal, it could be impossible to supply the facility or service you have requested.

Please note that your data may also be handled with an aim to providing you with information on the world of Stefanel: schemes, events, special offers and product launches. In this case your data may be transferred solely to companies linked to Stefanel S.p.A.

Stefanel would like to stress, for the purposes of proper user information, that the current computer systems and software procedures used to run the websites acquire data during normal operations, the transmission whereof is an inherent part of use of Internet communication protocols.

Although these data may, due to their very nature, permit potential identification of the user, Stefanel S.p.A. makes sure that they are used solely for obtaining anonymous statistics on use of the site and for monitoring its proper working. However, barring what has been stated up to this point, they may be used for ascertaining responsibility in the event of computer crimes against the website.

Rights of those concerned

Pursuant to Art. 7 of the aforementioned decree law no. 196/03, you are entitled to obtain confirmation of the existence of your personal data, to discover the origin, procedure and aims of handling and obtain intelligible communication and modification of the data. You are also entitled to make a lawful objection to the handling of the data and, should this be carried out as an infringement of law, to obtain deletion or conversion into an anonymous form of the data or a block on handling. In these cases you can also request that notification be given of these operations to the parties to whom the data had been transmitted.

To exercise your rights as described above, you can simply contact the person in charge mentioned previously, sending a letter to Stefanel S.p.A., via Postumia n. 85, 31047 Ponte di Piave - TV - Italy and/or an e-mail to info@stefanel.it, for the attention of the administration director pro-tempore, indicating "Riferimento D.Lgs. 196/03" on the envelope or in the message.

Franchising

STEFANEL will handle your personal data for the sole aims linked to opening of the dossier and fulfilment of any contract for franchising and/or another form of agreement, such as preliminary processing, administration, management of orders and contracts, despatch, billing, check on trustworthiness or solvability and for possible transfer of credit, both manually and electronically.

Provision of data is optional, although in the event of a refusal, it could be impossible to finalise the preliminary phase and, subsequently, the franchising agreement or to fulfil it correctly.

We would also like to inform you that your data may also be handled in order to supply you with information on the world of Stefanel.

Shopping on line

Please note that the purpose of handling of your data (to be performed electronically) is to fulfil the contract. Where required for this purpose, we will send your data to the carrier assigned and to other companies who are to handle phases of the process of selling and despatch of the products. Provision of data is compulsory in that it is necessary for the purposes of fulfilling the sales contract. In this case your data may be transmitted solely to companies linked to Stefanel S.p.A. Acceptance of this method of handling is optional. In any case we will not use the information in our possession for purposes other than those stated above nor will we transmit them to companies outside of the Stefanel environment. Please note that, should your purchase be intended as a gift or is, in any case, to be sent to another person, the data of the recipient will only be used in order to ensure proper delivery of your Stefanel purchase, but will not be stored by us.
