In occasion of The Salone del mobile 2012 Stefanel shop in Milan - C.so Vittorio Emanuele II - hosted the creativity of Thierry Boutemy, famous French floral designer. He has collaborated with Sofia Coppola for the movie Marie Antoinette, Lanvin, Matthew Barney, Dries Van Noten, Mario Testino and Sonia Rykel amongst others.

BERNARDO BELLOTTO. IL CANALETTO DELLE CORTI EUROPEE, CONEGLIANO
From November 11th to April 15th 2012 Palazzo Sarcinelli of Conegliano opens its doors to another important historical-artistical event: the exibithion of Bernardo Bellotto’s paintings (1721 -1780).
This exibithion explores the creative evolution held by one of the most brilliant Venetians masters. Developing the techniques inherited from his uncle, Antonio Canal, also known as Canaletto, Bernardo Bellotto shortly became famous for the interpretation he made of European courts, and nevertheless reached the title of highest exponent of the Venetian Vedutismo.
Thanks to the magnificent Artist ability to focus on the most curious particulars of nobility and people’s everyday life, visitors can retrace the sensations of living in the 17th century. The exhibition hosts at least 40 paintings: from the panoramic views of Venezia and the Italian cities, to the most known European capital cities.
MATISSE. LA SEDUZIONE DI MICHELANGELO, BRESCIA
After the enormous success of the initiative about Inca, that has taken more than 283.000 visitors, also for 2011 Stefanel renews the collaboration with Artematica and the art in Brescia.
At the Santa Giulia’s museum is planned the exhibition MATISSE. LA SEDUZIONE DI MICHELANGELO, from February 11th to June 12th.
Through 180 works of art – paintings, sculptures, drawings, engravings, gouaches découpées – that cover the whole Matisse’s artistic life, it will be analyzed the work of art of this Frances artist from a point of view that no one has ever done before in an exhibition: the relationship with the Michelangelo’s work of art.
Even though, Matisse had always affirmed the modern nature of his art, as all big genies, he had studied and analyzed the antique art, especially the Michelangelo’s art, he had taken from this one the force and the suggestion for his research on the absolute essence of the painting.
At the same time, at the Santa Giulia’s museum, ERCOLE IL FONDATORE. DALL’ANTICHITA’ AL RINASCIMENTO.
CIMADACONEGLIANO, CONEGLIANO
Always bound to the world of art, to the origins and values of his territory, Treviso, Stefanel is sponsor of cimadaconegliano, the most important Giovanni Battista Cima exhibition in Conegliano. An event that has never been organized before.
People can appreciate an unrepeatable exhibition of 38 works of art coming from the most important European and American art museums that chronologically traces the artistic history of the painter Cima, an artist that during his relatively brief career has reached the top of the sacred painting in the lagoon area.
This is an extraordinary event that coincides with the re-opening to the public of Palazzo Sarcinelli, one of the most prestigious town halls in Conegliano’s historical centre, the artist’s loved hometown.

VEDI IL BOOKSCAPIGLIATURA. UN "PANDEMONIO" PER CAMBIARE L'ARTE, MILANO
In the summer of 2009, Milan celebrates Scapigliatura, the artistic and literary movement that was spawned and made its name here in the Lombard capital.
Comprising 250 works including paintings, sculptures, drawings and etchings, accompanied by texts, photographs, and other historical materials, the exhibition revives the atmosphere of this experience that, from the mid-19th century to the early 20th, engaged all the arts towards renewal and led to changes in ideology and custom in Italian society
CANALETTO. VENEZIA E I SUOI SPLENDORI, TREVISO
More than forty years after the memorable retrospective exhibition “I vedutisti veneziani del Settecento” (Venetian Veduta Painters of the 18th century) held at Palazzo Ducale in Venice, an extraordinary panoramic exhibition dedicated to Canaletto and Venetian veduta painting, the most spectacular artistic phenomenon of the 18th century.
The most important works with Venice as subject have been brought together thanks to the significant involvement of the most famous museums in the world, including the Hermitage of St. Petersburg, the Louvre of Paris, the Prado of Madrid, and the Metropolitan Museum of New York.

In the European Year of Equal Opportunities for All, the first large exhibition dedicated to five centuries of women’s art, featuring 200 works by 110 artists including Sofonisba Anguissola, Camille Claudel, Lavinia Fontana, Frida Kalho, Marietta Robusti Tintoretto, Tamara de Lempicka, among many others.

LEONARDO. DAGLI STUDI DI PROPORZIONI AL TRATTATO DELLA PITTURA, MILANO
In the Sala delle Asse, studies of the human figure and the modular division of the body are the focus of the exhibition dedicated to the genius of Leonardo da Vinci and his Treatise on Painting, including a number of drawings by da Vinci from the Windsor Royal Collection, the Ambrosiana Library of Milan, and the Gallerie dell’Accademia of Venice, in addition to an extremely rare model of a horse from a private collection, accompanied by other historical materials such as a drawing by Verrocchio, 16th-century manuscripts, original drawings and etchings by Antonio Canova, and prints by Giuseppe Bossi.

Emilio Vedova, who while still alive had enthusiastically accepted the proposal of the City of Venice to organise a small one-man show at Sant’Erasmo, is showcased in the restored spaces of the Torre Massimiliana with a selection of works from his most celebrated cycles of the ’70s and ’80s:…cosidetti carnevali…, Plurimi-Binari, Frammenti e schegge, Arbitri…. The Plurimi-Binari of the cycle Lacerazione III 1977-1978 and a part of the…cosidetti carnevali…1977-1983 are on show for the first time ever.
VENEZIA '900. DA BOCCIONI A VEDOVA, TREVISO
A comprehensive view that allows us to revisit the events that made Venice an important centre in the development of contemporary art from the early 20th century to the 1960s and beyond.
A new generation of artists was formed in Venice, including Boccioni, Guidi, Gino Rossi, Casorati, De Pisis, Cadorin, Cagnaccio, Sacchi, Astolfo De Maria, Arturo Martini, Modigliani, De Luigi, Pizzinato, Santomaso, Tancredi, Fontana, and Vedova, whose work marked important turning points in the history of art in Venice, Italy, and Europe as well.
For Stefanel, being close to the world of culture has always been an important commitment. On this occasion, too, we had the satisfaction of having contributed to bringing an extraordinary event to the general public.
ALBERTO MARTINI, VENEZIA
Alberto Giacomo Spiridione Martini (Oderzo, 24th November 1876 – Milan, 8th November 1954) was an Italian graphic artist, illustrator and painter, a forerunner of the Surrealist movement. Martini’s works are characterised by a great breadth of views and a boundless imagination. His luminous pastel paintings with extremely soft colours always stir emotion, joy, curiosity, and mystery.
Stefanel has enthusiastically supported the project of the municipal administration of Oderzo to organise a conference dedicated to the study and cultural promotion of the figure of Alberto Martini. The conference represents a deserving tribute, but above all an occasion for stimulating renewed interest in this artist who played an important role in 20th century Italian culture.
In addition to our admiration for the value of his work, Stefanel is linked to the artist by common roots in the territory of Oderzo.
LE IMMAGINI DELLA FANTASIA, SARMEDE
“The Images of Fantasy” is an international exhibition of children’s book illustrations. The idea for the exhibition came about in 1982, based on the intuition of Štěpán Zavřel, the well-known Prague-born illustrator who made his home in Rugolo di Sàrmede, Italy. Since its inception, encouraged by the growing success and the invaluable collaboration of many artists, each year the exhibition showcases more than 300 works from all over the world, offering a fabulous journey into the fantastic collective imagination of each country.
The universal language expressing all the joy and enthusiasm generated in the mysterious world of fantasy and the world of style that Stefanel, always keen on seeking new fashions to introduce to the public, has promoted the collection called “The Images of Fantasy”, an ideal meeting point between the inspiration and the capacity of artists of international level and the philosophy of communication of a company, projected for the years ahead.
Stefanel sponsored the exhibition from 1989 to 1997, promoting it at the international level and often accompany a showing with important corporate events in prestigious European venues.
