Oscars 2012: and the winner is… Meryl Streep. Again!
They tried to wear us out with the endless nights of Sanremo, but we hung on, and we didn’t miss the Oscars either. Even more than for New Year’s Eve, we waited all night with great anticipation. At the end the verdict was announced: the award for best actress goes to Meryl Streep. Giulia Blasi knew what she was talking about! Her predictions were right on, even if the modest Giulia says that she was taking a guess, don’t believe it. It wasn’t luck that put the Oscar in the Iron Lady’s hands. And Giulia knew it.
Your favourite top five movie soundtracks
The alchemy between music and images has always been one of the tricks cinema used to move us. Be it a song you dance to or a romantic tune, we all cherish a handful of songs in our hearts that are closely related to a movie. Sometimes it’s just a song, that is brought to fame by a movie, to which it is bound for all eternity. Some other times it is the whole ambience the soundtrack creates that suit the movie just like a perfectly tailored dress. When this alchemy works, it brings us back into the movie and remind us of the style and fashion in the movie and they way we dressed in those years.

The five movie heroines you always wanted to act
It happens to everyone, it must happen to you, too, must it not? You go to the movies or simply watch one and the plot is so involving that you dream of being part of it without even noticing. After all, since time immemorial the power of a great story, be it written or told with images, is this: to drag you into a world that is not your own, make you live another life in 200-pages or two hours in a dark theatre.
Thus we decided to ask Giulia Blasi, Stefanel Choices’ first guest, to pick five silver screen heroines she would have loved to play. Here are her choices.
The five must-see Christmas movies
Christmas is coming, and going to the movies at Christmas is as much a tradition as making the tree or the crèche.
For this reason we asked Giulia Blasi, our first guest at Stefanel Choices, to open the initiative with a debate on cinema: she will give her personal selection of Christmas films, those Christmas would not be the same without. Here is her selection!
